Same boat as me, I voted Labour last time as our MP is good for the community and is very visible and active, and he kept his seat after ousting the SNP in the election prior.
However, as things stand, I can see the poor bugger getting emptied due to what's going on elsewhere, rather than it being based on what he's done and will do.

Seems to be a lot of tories making their way over to the Lib Dem's now. Lib Dem's the new tories now that the tories are an extremist right wing party?

About 60% of this place thinks like this.
Since you left VS is on board now so we must be up to about 75%
Fwiw Aim High i don't think simplifying the mess is the reason people are calling for indyp2, it's to remove ourselves from the position where this chaos can be created for us whether we like it or not,

we're fucked economically either way so might as well decouple ourselves from these gammon weirdos and have something to show for it
I'm not a Yesser yet but would have to give it deep thought this time around. I still disagree it has many merits but I'm not seeing much future in the UK. As somebody who has kids, I vote with them in mind and as things stand I'm very scared for their future. Getting away from a Tory lead government is very appealing.

Think for people like yourself the SNP is seen as the big hurdle as a lot of people think independence = SNP gvt.
I like the idea of independence as it gives us the best opportunity for political reform and we can reshape the way people vote and are represented. Getting away from the 2 party system, not just the tories would be very beneficial for Scotland especially with things like climate dominating the landscape these days. I think there are important issues that will never be seen as a priority for tories/labour because it's all about just securing that majority.
I don't think our parliament would turn out much better as they are all power hungry cunts but it's the lesser of two evils for me just now. The Tories are vile and cruel beyond anything Scotland would ever manage.
