The danish interpretation of VAR will see the refs in the box having 25 seconds to see if a decision is clear and obvious. If it takes longer the goal will be given.

It's only clear and obvious for fouls, offsides are either offside or they're not. The timer isn't going to solve that, you need to update the rule to iron that problem out.

They'll be afraid to give anything. Imagine an old firm title decider and it goes to the box and the guy has 25 secs to make a decision. He'll brick his pants. No doubt about it.
If you're going to have a video ref then they should have time to look at fouls, handballs etc... from multiple angles and come to the correct conclusion and it should take as long as it takes.
