We haven’t lost a Scottish Cup game at Tynecastle to Rangers since 1957.

I mind that but I wasn’t there. I was in attendance 34 years ago tho. There’s a great pic in The Boys In Maroon book of Levein and Colin macadam at full time.

Any ideas as to when we're getting an announcement on the QF fixtures?

It's utterly ridiculous this has not been decided and announced.

Due to Europa League fixtures the midweek before and SPL fixtures the midweek after there can be no dubiety over when the Old Firm play.

Hearts v Rangers has to be Saturday 29th February as Rangers play in Braga on Wednesday 26th February and Hearts play at Easter Road on Tuesday 3rd March. Rangers play their scheduled SPL game on Wednesday 4th March.
St Johnstone v Celtic has to be Sunday 1st March as Celtic play at home to Copenhagen on Thursday 27th February and both play in the SPL on Wednesday 4th March.
Hibs v ICT has to be either Friday 28th February or Saturday 29th February as both teams play on Tuesday 3rd March, Hibs at home to Hearts and ICT home to Morton.
St Mirren/Motherwell v Aberdeen/Kilmarnock could be played either Saturday 29th February or Sunday 1st March as none of them play in the SPL till Wednesday 4th March.

The only issue I see is whether the authorities allow both games to be played on the Saturday in Edinburgh. If they do I suspect we'll see ICT v Hibs at lunchtime and Hearts v Rangers in the early evening and the other 2 games on the Sunday. If not Hibs should be Friday night with us on the Saturday.

I think we’ll be the lunchtime game on the Saturday as that’ll let the four cars of Caley fans get down for tea time.

Well, I hope we are as I’m off to Liverpool on the Saturday morning and I’d have to jump on the early train to get in to Lime Street for lunchtime.

That would actually make some sense so you know what happens next!

But yep, Hearts v Rangers at 12.30pm and then Hibs v ICT on the 7.20pm slot.

Pretty much as we suspected if the Police weren’t allowing both games to be played on the Saturday.

Don’t think we will get close to selling out. £30 for platinum seats is one thing but £30 for any seat is another. Suspect Rangers will have been heavily involved in pricing given to hey know they’ll shift theirs.

£9 more expensive than a ticket for tomorrow. Not ideal with Hibs straight after but thankfully there's a pay day in between.
