That Locke side only properly turned up once relegation was confirmed
I think it took until February to get into positive points.

My memory is the season started okay. I remember being in Malaga mid September of that season and we taken the lead away to Ross County but ended up being beat. We had had some positive results before then?
We were always going to struggle that season - a lot of those players would never be in the squad never mind side if we were not going though what we were. In many ways Locke was on a hiding, not a very good manager but I suspect the bleeding maroon was hoped he could just get us through. He made, as did the club, some bad decisions in not filling the bench but it must have been a pretty crazy time around the club when all this was going on. Nobody who was in that side who the club ultimately let go has come back to show we they were wrong - bad recruitment on the clubs part does not change that. We would all love to see loads of young players come through mixed with good solid pros with a couple of magic dust on a few more expensive signings. That seemed to be the clubs mandate when the Budge era started but it's not easy to do - more so the first part. Motherwell seem to manage the younger players fine but I wonder if expectation and the demand at Hearts makes it more of a challenge that at a club where just sitting in the top 6 is considered a good achievement. We would settle for that for sure at the moment but at Hearts there is always a push on for wanting more (which isn't a bad thing)

what a bitch
Here's the story
https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/f...1585339905 While I think players should accept due to the position they've put us in, she really could not be handling this any worse. This is the real reason for the statement btw.

Quote:Given the added complexities around players' contracts and the wide range of personal circumstances, a number of players are still reviewing their situations. However, I believe we will reach a good outcome as I know they want to do what they can to support the Club. Someone isn't telling the truth, and my money is on 'Queen Ann'

So if we're going to finish this season at some point how does that work with contracts ending and loans ending? Do clubs then get to sign players so they are able to finish this season? When it starts back again...

Or maybe scrap the windows for a season (how it should be).

Millions upon millions in her brothers bank account and she can't produce the money to pay our low earners either through her own wealth or that of her benefactor. Truly shite what she's done to our club. If we weren't sitting rock bottom after the incompetence of her and her BFF over the last few years the panic wouldn't be nearly as great, we'd have prize money, Europe, hell maybe even some player assets. Cunts the pair of them.
We better hope to fuck that the season is voided as the players are going to try even less of a leg once we resume given this complete shitshow.

How the fuck can a team like Bristol rovers be 24 million in debt?
