What bottle is it? I normally just have a splash of water in mine depending on the strength. Take your time with it and sip it like it’s boiling hot coffee.

Ralfy used to be a good guy to watch and get pointers off of. His earlier videos are much better than his newer ones though. He became a preachy arsehole

Anyone tried this? I haven't, but every time I see it on a shelf I'm like Piggy at how good it looks. Warnock

Nothing too extravagant. Glemorangie original, 10 year. Any whisky I've had before just... burns. Don't really see how it's enjoyable. No different to sipping rum or vodka neat. I know people do it but much prefer it mixed. Want to mix up my daily tins of tennents though so tempted to crack it open and give it a go.

Just in a glass at room temperature? Few drops of cold water if needed?

Keep adding water bit by bit until it doesn’t burn. 37% ABV is normally the sweetspot but it’s a total guessing game.

I usually have a fair bit of water in mine, but it’s an each to their own thing. Think that’s part of the beauty of it.

Only problem with some whisky folk are they properly turn their nose up if you don’t drink it the same way as them :Laugh

You’re speaking my language here Rog. MyMan

I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve tried whisky and always ended up feeling like I’m downing fire. Laugh

I’ve probably given my brother hundreds of pounds worth of the stuff over the years, following people buying it or giving it to me and it just sitting gathering dust until I give it away.

He loves the stuff, but I just can’t get into it at all. Jezza

Bearing in mind that I’m only a couple of steps behind my boy Beats in the jakey stakes, it’s a mystery why I can’t drink it when I drink everything else. Warnock

We’d planned a Zoom whisky tasting night with the boys I was going to Islay with. Worked it out so there’d be two bottles we all had and would start with them then drink whatever else was kicking around the house. Quite Good

Had to postpone it because the boy leading it has coronavirus and can’t taste anything Zlat UWOT
