I just bought one of they Philips ambilight ones, backlight makes a big difference when watching films.

Would defo recommend, the 50 seems huge glad I didn’t go for the 55 in the end.

This is the one I picked up last November. Really impressed with it and the 55inch doesn’t look too big either.

This is probably a daft question but does the curve make a noticeable difference? Never known anyone to have one so not seen one myself so curious to hear what effect it has.

My parents have one, it looks better in the room if it’s in a corner but it doesn’t make any difference when you’re watching it.

I don’t think it would look that great against a flat wall.
