The actor who played lead character Sean Wallace was wooden as fuck and ruined it for me along with the completely unnecessary amounts of violence that was used to fill out the episodes, obviously gangs rule by violence but it just felt silly in the end, was looking at my phone for the majority of the final 3 episodes.
Same for me Rory.

Thought it started off really well and could put up with the shit cheesy accent but just completely lost it’s pace towards the end. I don’t want to sound like a prude but the violence was just OTT as well, there was too much of it so became too much like a Tarantino film so lost the impact of how brutal it was meant to be.

I liked the twists and turns though, I thought the story overall was good and I’d watch a second series but it did suffer towards the end.

Actually watched the first episode on a 14 hour train journey in Vietnam and concluded that no matter how bad it was being a soldier there, it couldn't have been more unpleasant than that experience  Monty Chuckle

Stuck this on after your recommendation, only half way through but it’s excellent.

If anyone’s going to watch it it’s only on Netflix until the 19th of June

Sound

Up there with the best documentaries I've ever seen. That boy that was a Rhodes scholar that gave up it up to serve in the marines was some boy.

I'm on about episode 6 of that White Lines. It's shite like. The things you could do with a series in Ibiza and that's what you come up with. Robbie

We powered through just because it would be a waste of time otherwise. Actually shite. That lassie had me raging at how much of an arsehole she is. Almost no redeemable characters.

Despite everyone on here slating it we watched episode 1 Tonight, my mind was made up after 5 mins but we have it 20 mins before switching off.

The cockney prick with the rubber chops is in his fair share of stinkers so there was a immediate red flags on White Lines for me.
