Also just listened to it.

Would be good on your podcast if you could address fans concerns over the season ticket scandal and interesting, headline questions that arent' covered elsewhere e.g. as to whether Naismith fits into the team anymore. Does Naismith inhibit Walker's game etc...

Strike some topics of heated debate that will get people talking with fresh takes. Try and authentically represent what's on the minds of the fans, not just what you think will be allowed within the parameters of the club. A lot of Hearts fans have had their personalities neutured by the current regime - you don't want to be a symbol of that. Differentiate yourself from the stuff we can read, listen to elsewhere.

I've even been told off on here for starting a bit of heated debate, it's 2020 and we all have to be nice now, but if we're honest, people want to listen to a few opposing view points - some dialogue with a bit of tension. Invite me on and I'll slate Budge for getting us relegated and being blinded by Levein, no problem.  Or approach Gary Mackay and give him a platform to slaver his pish as at least he's an alternative voice to the usual regime drones.  Sound

I'm not suggesting you do this, but I wonder with alot of these vlogs or fans forums etc.. are they wanting more viewers/listeners and really want to get their voice heard to a wider audience, or are they just wanting to rack up enough content so they eventually get a pat on the head from the club.

I’ve listened to episodes 1 & 2 and Scott’s articulated that better than I ever could,
keep talking about the recent results and team affairs but pick up on some of the controversial points like Jimmy the joiner, Leveins preferred agents, season ticket debacle, the clubs treating the fans like customers-which we are but it seems hearts just take it that little bit further, the FoH having little input into the club despite the mammoth efforts.

If I could offer a bit of constructive criticism, it would be for the main host (assuming that is yourself) to relax a bit more. I think when you go off on a tangent, the conversation feels more natural and it flows, but when you are focusing on notes, etc, it sounds a bit serious and nervy (everything ending with 'eh?', 'isn't it?', etc). I'm sure your confidence will grow with each episode, and hopefully it will start to sound more relaxed.

Best of luck with it Sound

Hi mate! This is exactly the kind of feedback that we are looking for.

Yeah I'm the main host and completely agree with your comments. I think I got too hung up with a sort of structure as opposed to going off on a tangent, which is what makes podcasts more enjoyable to listen to.

I think the first episode that we did, was much more of a natural flow so we'll be aiming to get back to that for the derby preview next week. Our third co-host is finally able to join up which should also help.

Thanks for your comments and I hope you'll hear the improvements as the weeks go on!

Hi mate. Yeah we're planning on talking about the season tickets situation in the coming weeks, and also about future leadership of the club, I.e. Budge and the FOH board. Also we want to be honest in our opinions and don't care about what the club think.

We are very much open to any other ideas that you or others may have, which we can use to talk about and debate. Also, we are hoping to get a section on fan's comments / opinions so if anybody has any feelings / thoughts / opinions / etc then feel free to reply on this topic, pm us or tweet us - our @ is TalkinTynie

Thanks very much for your feedback!

I think this was from the article you were referring to about Craig Wighton's appearance's in the podcast. It was by Kenny Millar of the Sun.

"On a football front, I just want to see more young players get their chance. In May 2014 I was lucky enough to be in Malta covering the Under-17 European Championships. Portugal’s captain was a Porto midfielder called Ruben Neves, who this year became the youngest captain in Champion League history. When he achieved that feat he already had 43 competitive appearances to his name. From the Scotland team he played against, the combined appearances was 74 – and 49 of those came from Craig Wighton. If Porto can entrust an 18-year-old with that responsibility at the highest level, what’s our excuse?"
