One thing that can hopefully work to our advantage is Celtic's schedule. With the exception of the November international break where obviously a lot of their players won't even get a break they play every midweek between now and the Cup Final be it 4 Europa games plus the League Cup. One thing to note is that the Tuesday/Wednesday before the Cup Final is the League Cup 1/4 finals so hopefully we avoid them if we are still in it.

I have a different feel to ths 2019 final; it’s a small chance we have, but we definitely have a chance.

Gordon heroics all game and us to sneak one off a set piece in injury time please jjay

Zlamal

Smith  Souttar  Berra  Hickey

Edwards  Haring  Djoum

Clare  MacLean  Mulraney

Subs: Wighton, Uche and Bozanic came on

Crazy to think (assuming fitness) we will play in the Cup Final in December, 19 months after the last one with only Smith and Haring remaining as likely starters. We'll improve over the next 6-7 weeks, obviously we need our best players fit and available but for me we have a better starting 11 and certainly a better squad than we did in May 2019. Additionally I think it could be argued that Celtic are not quite as strong. We have a chance if we play to capabilities and get the necessary breaks.

No Boaby or Berra this time to hand it to them on a plate.

We have a real chance this time round.

I said it on the match thread but time to lockdown the country and get that curve flattened.

Forget about saving Christmas, it's all about getting to that final, get a limited amount of fans into Hampden. The perfect test event. 55,000 capacity stadium, give each set of fans 5k tickets. I don't think I could hack not being at a cup final involving Hearts  Laugh Saturday was bad enough!

Let the fans back in for this one game then immediately put a stop on them as soon as it's done.

As much as I miss going to games the crowd factor is usually a benefit to the tims. Refs are massively influenced by them.

No fans and its back to being 11 v 11 and I can genners see us winning it

We have absolutely nothing to lose and I can seriously see us doing it.

Ruining Christmas for thousands of Celtic fans would be the greatest gift of all.

That’s probably one of the reasons they’ve struggled so much this season

I think Neilson could tactically outsmart Lennon in a 11 v 11 with no crowd etc...

Would be nice if they let a few folk in though, just so they have somewhere to go when players score. Even 500 supporters behind each goal.

Going into it with a better squad, better manager and no doubt a better run of results.

Bring them on.

Any speculation or thoughts on a likely kick off time for this?  No SPFL or EPL games that weekend have been moved for TV as yet but you would think they would want to try to avoid playing it at the same time as other matches. Even though it's a Sunday maybe a 5pm again, with no fans to take into account?
