Ok boys we'll agree to differ. But if you think losing to Dunfermline and Dundee isn't a problem whilst we operate outside a top flight which contains the biggest pile of shite I've ever seen in over 40 years then so be it.
We've got big problems. The acceptance of mediocrity has engulfed our support. We have the third largest support and an income stream which exceeds that of Aberdeen and Hibs. We got a reboot opportunity 6 years ago when we shook off £30M of obligations and we're still making a fucking cunt of it.
I'm more disappointed at Price beating Bunting in the darts tbh. This doesn't even register as the most disappointing sports event to take place between 7:30 and 9 this evening

I'll be annoyed if Hearts aren't promoted at the end of the season. Really don't care how many bumps there are en route to achieving that tbh.

The cup final was absolutely gutting, but quite obviously not a “low†in the sense that's being thrown about here It's about the only time I've actually been proud of the club in the last 3 years ffs
Defeats like this are annoying for a little while but soon forgotten about. The most irritating part on here is the customary race to the bottom by the resident bores to endlessly repeat the same three or four tired points about the last few years.

I fully agree. It's galling to see missed opportunity after missed opportunity and then what can only be described as negligence from Levein et al over the course of years seeing us where we are currently.
That we're shipping 3 goals each to Ayr and Dundee who are truly dreadful sides should be a huge wake up call as to how bad a nick we're in.

Why do folk do this all the time, go way overboard with statements like 'a real low point' or whatever after a rare defeat and then when folk say its not quite as bad as that they go 'well if you don't think it's a problem at all then fine'. There is a middle ground where it's a bad defeat but not necessarily the sign of a coming apocalypse.
Losing away games to the second and third-placed teams in our division isn't all that alarming tbh. It's disappointing - with our squad and wage budget we should be going into every game as favourites, and losing the only two games that come close to being a challenge suggests that serious rebuilding is still required - but these are literally the games that, before the season started, you'd have picked out as most challenging. Not even top 10 low points of the last five years or so (which, tbf, says more about how bad the last five years have been than anything else). People are understandably frustrated with the current regime, but as a result want to see everything as part of a larger pattern.

We should really have got out of dodge with at least a point. Missed two or shree absolute sitters but it's the same issues away from home that have been there since the year after the last championship season.
Still setting up to nullify opponents rather than impose ourselves. Not helped by our complete lack of wingers and no other striker than Boyce
I think you have to give Dundee some credit for the way they set up to press us in the first half. Most sides won't have the belief to do that to us in this league. We just don't cope with it with Berra and Gordon prone to a hoofball. Kingsley and Brandon weren't getting wide to accept a pass to build play either in the first half.
Hope that Haring gets back to where he was and we can use him to build play. It's frightening that Berra plays but as someone has said it must be because this other boy is even worse in training. A failure to recruit wide players and a CB has been the biggest problem.
