Cochrane is someone who we'll look back on wonder why he didn't make it.

Nobody is telling me a guy who bossed the midfield in the best result of the Budge era wasn't worth more game time, especially this season and there were glimpses of ability in that one cup game he got a run-out. Fucking hell, what an opportunity to give him 25+ starts and build some confidence ahead of returning to the top league.

But no, we had to bring in utter journeyman pish (like Bozanic) to stunt his progress and then punt him out on loan which almost never fucking works. A great prospect likely ruined.

Aye Cochrane was good. Sick of folk telling me he’s shite. I’m not blind I watched him and he had class.

The situation with Cochrane is truly bizarre.

As others have stated, he looks the part when he first came in and then disappeared. Deemed not good enough to play for us in the top flight when folk like Damour, Bozanic and Whelan were getting a look in ahead of him, turning in stinking performances each week. Instead we send Cochrane off on loan to first division sides.

When we end up in the first division ourselves you would think he will get a chance again but then gets sent on loan to a club the division below us yet once more! How can he be deemed fine for this level last season and when we play at this level now he's nowhere to be found?

Give me Cochrane, Conor Smith, etc ahead of Halliday, Haring and all the other midfield duds this season.

Vanacek got a good assist in his first game. Played shite for a half in his next game, then got called fat and never played again :

Hertz Zlat

How many ex players still love the club. Rudi, Adam, stamp and De Vries etc. Not that kind of club anymore.

I mind when Levein called Vanacek fat, lots of hearts fans just nodded along "aye he's a fat fuck".

Cue the obligatory washboard stomach instagram pic from Vanacek as soon as he moved club.

You can probably go back and see the photos of him when he was allegedly fat letting himself go in Thailand on a 2 month bender.

Guy was ripped even then, because he wore big shorts apparently that was enough to deem him as a fat cunt. He played 90 minutes first game, not one person questioned his fitness then as soon as Levein said it the week after or whatever all the fans had made their minds up Laugh

The way he was treated was shocking

The diving wan-ma on 12 in 33 (quite a few on the bench maybe?) and then binned instead of being managed properly.

Ozturk club captain and then ostracised after a bad game at perth.

Neilson is a pure weirdo.

Bringing the Sammon  Monty Ha

Mind when Gomis was made captain but he had the audacity inform us that his dad died so we binned him.

Juanma seems to be your typical 1-in-3 journeyman which is pretty decent by recent standards.

See he's currently at Avispa Fukuoka, I used to go to the odd game when I lived there. Not exactly a high-standard but I can't imagine there's much difference between a yo-yo team in Japan and us right now Monty Oh Well

He'd have been useful at worst if kept on and managed properly.

Levein saw him in training, figured he'd again signed a complete dud and threw the cunt violently under the bus. Horrible when you think about it, the guy probably moved his whole family over here.

I liked juanma. Replacing him with Sammon annoyed me quite a bit back in the day. Had my hopes pinned on Tony Watt.

Juanma was alright. Probably got their fingers burnt paying him a stupid wage and then found out he was only a decent player, rather than some gem they'd dug up on Wyscout.

I’d put money on him being too much of a hit on social media and that rubbed Levein up the wrong way. He’s done alright for himself abroad since then (Hungary and Czech leagues, are we that much better?) so as per usual I’d guess our coaching or lack of have been the big issue.

He seemed the ideal striker for the scottish game as he was utterly despised by rival fans. Warnock 1 in 3 not to be scoffed at now sadly. Monty Oh Well

There was a while where we had a good run with strikers that were flawed but scored goals. Juanma, Isma and Lafferty all smashed double figures, and were sold at the first opportunity after a year or so.

Then we went into a cup final with a striker pool of MacLean, Uche and Wighton Monty Ooh

Wighton for all his flaws would’ve got at least 2 last night. Still a cunt for the penalty in the final but not seen much from Gnanduillet to prove he’s much of an improvement
