Am in a constant state of moral quandry because - having never even tried any kind of VR - I really want an Oculus Quest 2 (meant to be really excellent value for money for what you get), but on the other hand I don't want to essentially strap a Facebook camera to my head. Warnock

The only thing with it is I don’t see how you play it and don’t feel like a fucking tube. I only played it for about 30 mins max the day and felt self conscious as fuck that I was having this pure immersive experience but standing in someone’s living room Warnock

I don’t really know what the fb link up is, we were just playing the games on the oculus platform. The tech is seriously minted tho, it’s way better than the PS VR I’d say but I’ve only played both very briefly.

Finally got round to playing the RE3 remake. Really enjoyable but you can complete it in 2 and a half hours. Probably play it another few times tbf but glad I didn't pay full price for it.

I'm a bit concerned about the spate of remakes happening, at least with RE they are adding new stuff but I don't like the general trend of rehashing old content that seems to be so prevalent just now. I saw the other day they're remastering the original Rome: Total War and while I was a huge fan of the original, I can't see me wanting to shell out another $15 (it's half-price if you own the old one) for the same thing. The C&C remaster was alright at first but there were parts like path-finding & AI that had simply not moved with the times and I've not touched it in ages.

I still play Shogun 2 and that's been out for a decade, it's the best Total War by far.
