Good on you if you can make it a wee hobby go and support the wimmin. If you can put up with watching an awful standard and still enjoy it then fair play Sound

Hibs actually have some very good players, there were a few standouts but I’m not really sure I’d say any of the hearts team jumped out as having a that touch of quality.  The lassie we had out on right wing had a decent game and had a fair bit of success but hibs were happy to just keep slotting balls in behind and was catching us out loads.  Think the manager could’ve maybe sorted us out a bit better as for most of the game we just looked to go for big hoofs (the hertz way) and I think hibs defence would’ve loved it if every game was like that.  One good thing I liked was there wasn’t a lot of going backwards and side to side, both teams were trying to hit the wings and off the ball movement was actually good.

I’d go again to another game like that tbh, hibs hearts enjoyable at most levels and the standard is defo better than folk make out.  There were a few daft mistakes here and there, hearts keeper looked a bit lost in the second half at times but the majority of the players look quite young as well so need some perspective.

Missed the first 25mins but from what I saw of teh rest of the first half Hearts were matching them. Second half was comfortable for Hibs, and Hearts barely got into their opponent's half bar one unlucky ball over the top, which unluckily for the striker hit the back of her heel when she would have been clean through and one-on-one with the keeper.  I liked the way Hearts pressed the ball as a team, when Hibs two CBs started dicking around with it at the back and eventually Hearts got their reward with gaining possession just outside the box , which iirc lead to a corner. Th eteam press however dropped away in the second.

Thought Hearts captain Kaney  Monty LewLew looked quite good in the middle for 60 mins, mobile and pretty composed.

Hibs third goal was very nicely worked, impressive.

Tbh I was expecting Hearts to get humped but they were actually okay.

Morph, was that you that started the Hearts song in the wee section of the away end? Laugh

Lewy probably spends more time posting about women's football than every other poster on here put together. I don't watch it either - it'a very easy not to engage with.

The thing about the women’s game is that the match last night was essentially Inverurie Locos vs Brora Rangers considering the amount spent on training, etc.

I bet the technical ability and patterns of play were at least on par with teams like Locos or Brora.

I like to have my say on women's football because I don't like it and I think it's fair game for me to have my opinion on it, like folk have opinions on many things they don't like. If folk can say it's good then I can say it's shite.

Is anyone actually saying it's good? Warnock

Just comes across as weirdly obsessive when you constantly feel the need to say it's shite every time it comes up. I agree - it's shite. That's why I don't watch it and rarely engage with it. Probably good that it exists, though.

Nah, they weren't. No real lol moments but the pace is obviously much slower, so technically in that context they were okay.

There’s nae point in constantly comparing it to men’s football I don’t think.  If you’re no interested in it then not much you can do but it’s just a different sort of game and atmosphere.

They should try do that for the derbies get them into the proper stadiums and offer the tickets for free or buttons because there’s clearly an appetite for it.  More folk at that game the other night than a lot of senior men’s game in Scotland.

I used to go to festival cup with my dad and the standard was pretty rotten but it’s a good day because it’s a derby Jezza

He has made just 14 league starts in two years and not found the net since that fruitful first campaign.

Out of all the ridiculously overpriced strikers Sheffield United bought in their PL stay, he probably represented the best value.

I'm sure his wages will be way above our budget.
