Booked my folks in to Castle Terrace for their Ruby Anniversary without really considering how I'm going to pay for it
I've always given them vouchers in the past, but don't want them to feel like they are bound by the amount on the voucher or have to hold off on having what they want, so I was thinking Castle Terrace would let me pre-pay over the phone or in person? Anyone done that before or have any other suggestions?

Ive been looking at a few restaurants like that for my mum recently. If I remember right from their website, three courses from the Ala Carte is about £70 I think?. Two of them plus a couple of bottles of wine or something, should give you a rough idea of what to give them?
Or make them go for the pre theatre for £40

Aye I could give them cash easily enough, it's just not the classiest move in the world and I'd rather it was just all taken care of for them because I know what my old man is like - he'll try to pay the bill himself

Give them a prepaid MasterCard without telling them how much is on it.
