I'm not completely exonerating them - yes, they've got their fair share of pricks in there, as we've seen before - yet when they turned against AVB, for example, most observers blamed AVB. Good post. Deserves a pozzie; unfortunately out for now. His MO to success fails after a certain shelf life, or rather it certainly appears to. e: one ball scores for the toon. Good man.

The ball beginning to stop a bit, danger of this being stopped.

Stick a fork in Villa: they're done.
The ball is sticking quite a bit though, absolutely pishing down. Game could be in doubt.

Still, they must be raging and come midnight a few daft laddies ribbing them the wrong way, are gonna get sair faces.

Chelsea were all over Leicester as soon as Mourinho released the shackles with nothing to lose on Monday. That's odd, given they'd all "downed tools". At Chelsea first time round, then at Inter, what was so noticeable about Mourinho's management style was how incredibly close knit the squads were. He had a real, powerful emotional bond with his players. They loved him, he loved them, and they'd run through brick walls for him as a result. Since then, something's changed. Threw players under the bus in Madrid, including a Spanish national God. And ever since he arrived in England, he's been constantly grumpy, constantly in a mood. The humour's gone. Apparently, he thinks Chelsea failed this season because they're "mentally weak". That's typical of him: he's not looking at himself at all. Ever since he returned to Chelsea, I've had the suspicion he didn't really want to be there; he wanted to be in Manchester. Might still get that chance now, in which case we'll see if he lightens up. Oh, and by the way: which players did he fall out with in Madrid? Spaniards: the Spanish national captain above all. Who did he fall out with at Chelsea? One Spaniard; one naturalised Spaniard. I have no idea if that's significant or not, but I do wonder about it at times.

Chelsea have been like a heart patient rejecting a transplant for many years. Mourinho, ironically enough, instilled that in them. Then he ended up a victim of it too.

Laughable defending from Villa, should have been 2-0 there. Hutton is so casual

That's a screamer from Ayew.
