Beach today, apparently. Pretty cool, and you can just see a couple of those cruise liners off N Berwick.

This one, or rather the building behind is causing me grief!
It's Alexanders (Cars/Motors) of Semple Street's main HQ
I'm placing the photo somewhere in this range: 1922-24.

I have a picture from 1920 (apparently) of Port Hamilton which shows the back end going up (framed).
I also have an aerial, possibly same year with a bit more than the foundations in place.
There's also an aerial from 1929 which seems to show the completed building.

That whole area has had such a transformation.  Ohh to time travel back to those days and wander around the area. Sob

On first glance I thought it was a grey-headed greyhound/hound like dog staring out a window, until I read your caption. Laugh

Not sure what you mean, Zog; are you referring to the basin floor?

e; There's a man having a sly fag or something (maybe hoping to grab those two lads!) tight up against the wall.

Taken around 3:30am (10:30pm local time) this morning. Such a nice time of the year. Sob
The edge in top right quadrant is usually further out, probably by another 10-20 miles.  Saying that, perhaps it's becoming the new norm!
