We could've been bottom from week 1 onwards, and sitting two points from safety with 37 games played and it'd still be unethical for us to be relegated. You can't just project forward and assume everything would follow the same path.

There is not a chance we'll be relegated without playing the remaining matches. Should those matches not be played we will either see the entire season voided or there will be reconstruction. Not to mention the SPFL's own rules the reason I'm totally confident of this is that there is zero possibility that the likes of Aston Villa in a England will simply be relegated having played a game less than teams only 2pts ahead of them given the tens and tens of millions of pounds in play. It's just never happening without massive lawsuits which would drag on a lot longer than the stat of the following season. As we know the Scottish authorities are notoriously incompetent but they will follow their more esteemed colleagues elsewhere and there is no chance that teams from Europe's big leagues will simply be sent down. Short term league expansion seems highly likely.

The more I think about it the more I think that there is going to be some bammy way of playing out the season so they can ensure the tim title.
The path of least resistance could be to cancel the league as it is and deal with a hearts/rangers legal challenge vs the fallout from every team for voiding the league.

All the other bollocks aside, it's a fair reflection of each side's progress in relation to each other, to that point in the season. If you're going to come up with a cancellation and notionally award anything, then it's probably the fairest juncture on what to base your season.

I'd love a day to see what actually goes on in that head of yours. Or are you just permanently pished?
