This is only guess work but I suspect this may be one of the delaying tactics I'd alluded to. It may mean they can't release funds to any club given 3 clubs have not voted. Whoever our legal representative is may have said abstain and delay. Interesting to find out which of Partick, Dundee or ICT have done similar, I can see it being the former given their in the same boat as us.

It's immaterial whether we've voted or not - let it not be forgotten that the rest of the league have voted for a resolution that essentially benefits one club in the league to get them into the CL spot and awarded a trophy.
Lovely wee narrative arc for Scot Gardiner to have forgotten to send his vote in by time after Rusty Bertiegate.

If McLaughlin is right this is all about buying time. SPFL trying to rush things through but clubs have 28 days to vote on it How the fuck did nobody pick up on and make public that major clause until half an hour ago!!

I've not seen the rule that relegation only happens after the season is complete mentioned yet either. Facts are irrelevant to these goons.

So whats the deal here? Not been following.
Vote this through, it ends the season, awards Celtic the title and relegates us? So we want a no vote?

I was listening to that slavering cunt Murray and fantasising about league reconstruction once this had been rejected. Wind up.

Clearly nearly every club hasn't bothered to do any research either I'm sure most would have wanted more than 2 days to consider this. What a farce man.

Budge playing 4D chess here. An extra 28 days might push the likes of Hamilton into financial oblivion

An extra 28 days might push the likes of Hamilton into financial oblivion My hope all along has been that we can get to the stage whereby the major leagues are making decisions that we will then be under huge pressure to replicate and copy. I know I'm repeating myself but I keep going back to Aston Villa, there is not a chance that the EPL will simply relegate a team very much still in the running for survival should it not be possible to complete fixtures. The financial implications are just so great. SO I want Hearts to be in a position to say look at the EPL, look at La Liga etc etc. So if she, or her legal advisors have found this loophole and that we can delay the entire thing (along with another club or 2) for up to 28 days then kudos. It's the way forward. Delay, delay, delay. Force them to talk reconstruction, force them to get Sky involved, force clubs who are allegedly desperate for the money to come to the table.

(1) Find the championship club that hasn't voted.
(2) Offer their board a free pint in the Supporters' Bar at Tynecastle, and a free mid-size function room hire in return for their no vote. Easy.

Won't matter if we don't vote if there's already more than 9 in favour though so what's the point? :
The entire league season hinging on a vote from Caley : what a shambles football is in this country |
