Farce. The cabal will have been giggling in the corridor after convincing Budge to be ok with this. Presumably weakens our legal position too.
Go now, please.
Go now, please.

I'm guessing our chances of being involved in anything in the courts has just went out the window with Ann Budge having already said in a club statement she'd accept it if reconstruction was proposed.

I'd hazard a guess that I've had as much interaction with Budge as anyone on here and always treat her with the courtesy she deserves for what she has done for Hearts. That however does not diminish from the totally calamitous leadership of our club over the last couple of years and she needs removed from Hearts ASAP. She is about to see oversee a disastrous relegation and is by far the person most responsible for that regardless of this shit show we have witnessed over the last couple of weeks. If we aren't bottom of the SPFL after 30 games then we aren't in this position, it's very simple. Ok mate. I'm just not going to get that pent up about something I can't change.

Can we force her out and make sure we're not part of this?
04-15-2020, 06:14 PM
Who is advising her or is that a fucking stupid question?! Has he gone from “building a better medical department†(that's a real quote by the way!) to her legal counsel?

Our only hope is that Acey and his Partick mates can somehow prove that a vote no is a vote no!
If they do however, all we've done is kick the can further down the road but at least its still being kicked, which is what Hearts want at the very least.

I just fucking hate how badly they've let everyone down given we should be in a position of relative strength right now. The financial support the fans have given the club is astounding and this is where they've taken us! Bottom of the SPFL and what's more she was warned and warned about where her decisions were taking us.

Hearts aren't getting the lawyers in - Budge has decided.
Wee dictator regime. Fan owned though!!

Thistle relegated being a point behind with a game in hand is the biggest disgrace to any neutral. Scottish fitba can do one. So tinpot.

The kind of club who'd kybosh a bigger league would be perennial diddies Hamilton. There's every chance the first guy to put a knife into it would be Les Gray and he's helping put it together.

Surely the task force should feature 1 chairman from a club in each division, not just the two bottom teams in the Premiership who could get relegated.

Brechin just sitting back smoking a massive cigar. Absolutely staggering

I thought we were standing in solidarity with ICT and Partick and be relegated with some dignity.
Classic divide and conquer strategy. Budge you fool.

There has to be some sort of temporary reconstruction coming. Maybe a special voting criteria for this which makes it more doable.
It would mean Rangers would be the only team feeling hard done by (to play up to their fans rather than competitively) and Doncaster would save his skin. Anything else just doesn't make sense but Budge's incompetence never fails to disappoint.

If it is 11-1 and we assume Hibs will vote against - how the hell do we get both Old Firm on board.
Folk will promise to vote for reconstruction and the day of the ballot they will sink us like a stone

It'll be seen as a vote to relegate us, Hibs and the Tims will have a bit of that and stop any dilution of monies thank you very much. Party time down Easter Road way.

Well said, looks to me that Hearts have shat on those teams who took a stance. Hearts should have been at the forefront of exposing this massive shit show, legal action should have been sought, the freezing of SPFL funds attempted, UEFA made aware etc etc. Instead we are being asked to believe that Ann Budge will chair a task force that will see successful league reconstruction. Aye, very good.

I don't get why clubs are so against a bigger league. Well I do, money. But if clubs looked at the bigger picture they maybe change their tune. When it was a bigger league both Celtic and Rangers won European trophies. Other clubs got to the later stages of European competitions from time to time. If that was to happen again then we'd have a much better TV deal. Clubs like Hamilton would stay up most seasons too. The national team was better as well. I know people will argue that there's too many meaningless games but I disagree. The clubs sitting mid table, not getting into Europe and no chance of relegation could easily play youngsters getting them ready for 1st team football. No chance of it happening though.

Quite a few folk have been shafted in this but poor old Partick Thistle have really been fucked over.
As for us.... She needs to go before the new season kicks off, she is now tainted beyond repair and the club needs a fresh start with everyone on board with no divide within the support. Usually not a fan of bringing in ex players as a manager but if Stendal goes we could do a lot worse than go for Robbo. Again - apart from showing he can operate at that level, it gets everyone on board moving together. |
