Firstly, if you can't see how any mention of Islam in the western context is implicitly racial you're a moron.
Secondly, who are 'their leaders'? Â After all of this you still don't get it. Â You really, really don't get it. Â You've struck through the word 'community' then homogenised them again literally in the same sentence.
You're being condescending now my fellow. There's no need for it. Anyway, you and I and the Cameron's office will just have to disagree on who the message should have been directed mainly towards.
Trying to suggest that folks are moronic based on their less-than-scholarly understanding of Islam, based on their own limited experience, being westerners that is. You're at it again mate.
The leaders question you ask. If you (the whomever 'you' btw) are offended by the statement then I suggest that British politicians are not indeed their leaders (would it have been any different had it come from any other British political leaders), and that perhaps they do have respected spokesmen/women who can appeal to the moderately minded.
I believe you're over-thinking this to suit your online persona.
