We can't even afford to pay our teachers well, so it'll be a struggle to add a qualified coach to each school on top of that.
Seems to me like copying Iceland is an expensive model for Scotland.
How can Iceland do it?
Make the prices of the courses more affordable. Germany do this considerable cheaper than Britain and Scotland is more expensive than England.
The only ones stopping this from happening are ourselves.
As I said earlier, we have a big issue in that different parts of the footballing hierarchy have different interests. In Iceland everyone wants the national team to succeed and they make it happen.
