I sympathise with some of what you're saying, but this is terrible logic. 'Me being at work is dangerous, which means it's okay for me to go and see my family and put them in danger too'. If you're mixing with people regularly then that's an argument against seeing your family, not an argument for.
Like I said, I do sympathise - it's not fair. But infectious viruses don't look at situations and think 'well he's doing x so we should really let him do y, it's unfair otherwise'. Although I do agree that plenty of people have been sent back to work when, if we were really taking this situation seriously, they shouldn't have been.
