I'm on board with all of that tbh. As I say, I always order a really hot curry and I'm a takeaway on a Sunday night kind of person. Just think the flavour is impaired in a lot of these hot-for-the-sake of it ones as the dishes aren't really balanced in favour of making them hotter, much less of that nice heat, as you put it, and much more chilli piled in. I can sit down to a Vindaloo or whatever, it's just not as tasty to me as other ones - not saying it lacks flavour completely, just that it's not nearly as enjoyable a flavour IMO.
