No. I did up it over the summer holidays when my ligament injury cleared up, long before I tried the low carb approach, and my exercise since I started been a maintenance of that level (not accounting for a gradual improvement in performance). That's actually one of the reasons I decided to give it a go - I was going to the gym 4 times a week and seeing very little improvement in my fitness, so along with the energy dips I was having, I decided to look at my diet and change it up in a way I'd be more likely to stick with.
