I expected him to be a disaster, but they did really well last season as AP said, and were looking decent early this season. He was getting some serious praise from pundits just a few weeks ago to my memory. Can't go sacking boys for having dips in form - unless I'm seriously missing something longer term in their decline. Not sure how much of Shaun's post is hyperbole and how much is on the button.
I'd be willing to bet about 70/30 to hyperbole.
Swansea haven't suddenly became a bad team, they're heavily reliant on Gomis to get goals though and he's not delivered recently and with only Eder as his back up they're always going to go through lean spells, especially if Ayew is the only midfielder weighing in with goals.
Cant see them being in any danger of relegation so unless they have absolutely no trust in Monk's player selections I can't see the need to sack him.
