It's a fine line because there are loads of instances where newspapers or specific journalists act in a way that would be very damaging to someone's mental health. The way Raheem Sterling has been treated by certain papers for being black and successful, basically stirring up the public against him is very bad and not hard to imagine how that would fuck with your heid.
From what I can tell nothing like that at all has happened here Porteous has acted like a nutcase as usual, the tackle has divided fans and this guy has given his 2 pence on the matter. The journalist shouldn't be that bothered that porteous has called him out and given him a bit of a slagging but then at the same time porteous shouldn't be using mental health as a way to try manipulate the situation.
All you end up getting when something genuinely shite does happen and folk bring up mental health people will roll their eyes because it's being overplayed in situations. Dunno, maybe that makes me sound like a prick and porteous has been really affected by that article but I just think it's massively reaching and pretty manipulative.
