Don't judge the rest of them by Trump's (and your?) non-existent standards. The rest of them had plenty of respect for the integrity of the office. Trump sees the entire thing as a business opportunity.
And before you say "what relevance has that to us?", it has the following relevance:
1. In costing US taxpayers grotesque amounts of money, he undermines the American economy, which is of consequence for everyone
2. Much more significant: around the world, foreign governments and diplomats now know that to achieve trade deals, or mere US support on pretty much anything, they have to do things not for the US... but for Trump's business empire.
In the years before Trump was elected, the municipal authorities in Buenos Aires blocked his attempts to build a Tower there. The day after his election, he spoke to the Argentinian President on the phone. And guess what happened? The Tower immediately got the go-ahead.
The same conflicts of interest are ongoing across his administration: especially when it comes to Turkey and Russia (again, mostly because of his personal business interests). That impacts seriously on policy. We rely on the US to keep us all safe. It's now much more interested in feathering its leader's personal nest, and couldn't give a damn about its obligations. Corrupt doesn't even begin to cover it.
So much so that the so-called "Muslim ban" only covers countries where he has no business interests, and mysteriously ignores anywhere he does. That's a joke, CC. It's both disgusting and extremely dangerous.
I really don't know what to say.
