The definition of 'brain dead' is those who cheered him on regardless. But then, many of those supporters see this entire thing as some game. It's a game to these people. We won you lost get over it. The idea that politics is supposed to make a real difference in millions of people's lives was lost quite some time ago.
It was obviously a meaningless slogan (like everything else he says) but it was still a major part of his campaign. He posted a 5 point ethics reform plan on his website under the title 'drain the swamp' .
