Not meaning that's what you're saying but probably worth being careful about giving weight to arguments like that. I'd imagine a lot of people desp to defend the police would prefer that it was a personal problem rather than what (imo) it clearly was.
Yeah I was just reporting what is being said on the news this morning. It's an interesting development that they may have known each other and you wonder if Chauvin had singled him out previously. I think it's fairly clear from the number of controversial and inflammatory incidents this particular policeman has been involved in there should have been serious question marks against him even before this horrific death.
