You can't play open if you have no-one who'll score goals - and possession football just doesn't work in this league. Unless it's Barcelona doing it, it's so easy to play against. Get in their faces, be direct and physical, and it's goodnight. Even Klopp's best sides were always defensively vulnerable; but with no Lewandowski smashing them in every week, what do Liverpool have? Benteke doesn't understand the way they want to play and they don't understand the way he wants to play.
Klopp must look at this squad and wonder how on Earth they've spunked so much on so much shite. Even Can, who always gets rave reviews, has never convinced me. I think he's one of the most overrated players in the league. They've gotta sign a whole new squad if you ask me: keep Coutinho and maybe Firminho, who I think will be a lot better with better players around him, but the rest? Bin them. Useless. Show pony Lallana - what is the point of him? He's a like an ashtray on a motorbike - sums them up.
Never mind 2016 - it'll be 2116 at this rate.
With any luck
