We know glorious failure is coming -not just that, we can predict exactly what will happen in each and every qualification 'campaign'. Glorious failure against the big teams - taken apart in the game against Georgia /insert fourth tier nation here. We tried hard but were just unlucky, etc. Load of pish.
Nation of bottlers and self-interested arseholes destroying the game (when it comes to football).
Please note too that Ireland actually holding on for once last night was both very lucky given the chances Germany wasted, and a major exception. Last night was Ireland's first competitive win over a top 50 ranked side since - get this - September 2001. Throughout the time since, despite all their determination and commitment, they've constantly done exactly what Scotland did last night. Lack of technique and the panic which results is the reason for that.
