I'm not sure that's a good enough reason to explain it tbh. I know a guy who's done a lot of coaching in the US and then went to Bayern, Rangers and a couple of other clubs on the continent to do a wee bit of observation and/or youth coaching depending on the club for his PhD / Masters or whatever (not John Mitchell lololol). His perspective having seen the methods and infrastructure was that it was the culture that was bred into the kids in Germany that made them far better - he said they lived football from a really early age and were already living right, learning the game inside out, tactically etc. And that there were far more coaches, pro coaches with modern methods and professional salaries to work with the kids. Massive contrast to this country.
