Even not in bad weather, there's horrible numbers of accidents that happen every year because of ridiculous demands from employers. Must be here at this time on the dot regardless of circumstances. Must work through the night. Must drive for hours and hours without a break. All of this is just incredibly, mindlessly wrong. And as the UK's atrocious productivity levels show, it doesn't work either.
Yeah lets cancel the home care, meals on wheels, chemists, doctors surgeries, public transport, electrical engineers etc. etc. They're all battling in to work because their employers are cunts and not because the country can't just ground to a halt.
if we do your suggestion the least we can do is turn the old dears heating off now so they die off quickly
