We should have beaten them a lot more convincingly - and if we really want to be taken seriously we need to start sorting out those away performances - even in a tournament where away wins are hard to come by for everyone, the gap between us, Ireland and Wales when we played them was unacceptable.
3 wins out of 5 is a massive step in the right direction, but plenty of work to be done before the World Cup.
As for England
I'm sure Shaun 'laughed' his way through their performances
I only get excited by England when we're genuine World Cup contenders. The rest of the time, meh. Right now, we're a joke and deserving of complete ridicule. But none of it matters in the way it once did for me... because I've seen my country win the World Cup.
Scotland should push on from here and be very serious contenders to win next year's Six Nations. But the real acid test will be the meeting with Ireland at the RWC.
