The pitch was eventually looking sparkling after the concert though so dunno if that can still be blamed now?
Surely the consultants who install the pitch would've said that we can't do that with it being new if it was going to cause long term damage? For me it will probably just come down to having the wrong people in the job. Afaik the people who maintained our abysmal pitch before the upgrade are still doing it now. Not going to call for a groundsman's heid but I think they simply just need to be doing a better job or getting someone in external to help with managing it if this is how bad it's going to get.
