Whilst I'm very much concerned over the prospect of relegation, the form guide for 2020 so far shows we are still very much in the mix for staying up.
We've stupidly chucked a lot of points recently which is annoying but there is no doubt that there has been an improvement since the turn of the year.
If we stop shipping stupid goals (I know, I know), we will be fine. The goals we are conceding are down to silly mistakes - whether it's the hologram letting everything fly past him or giving daft penalties away. I mean Periera alone has cost us a good eight points recently.
It's going to be tight and there's a lot of work to do, but it can be done.
This is what annoys me about people laying the blame with Stendel. 100% criticise him for being naive in his tactics but he's not to blame if we go down, there was pretty much instant improvement but it might just not be enough. That's understandable because of the state he took over though.
I'm not so much worried about going down but more if we do go down and stendel leaves with some of our good players. Imagine Robbo or Stuart McCall doing the rebuild job in the championship, because that's the type of manager who'd be coming in.
