Those areas are all epicentres of the virus with high population densities, and as such, it only takes one person to cause carnage through the region or city.
Fair point about Madrid. Didn't realise it was so many. And perhaps why Spain is spiralling out of control.
I've been in Madrid and London many times though, and it's a gut feeling but I do feel like London is a scarier place for a virus to take hold. There are areas like the tube etc...where it could spread like a horror movie. Always multiple massive events happening everyday. Same with NYC.
