Struggle to get annoyed at folk driving. Loads need to drive to go to the shops etc. There's still plenty of cars on the road. Genuinely do think it's safer than going to some of the green bits in your area where they are rammed with people. If I was by myself I'd be sat on the couch not moving, but I've got a kid that needs fresh air and exercise. Literally everywhere we go is just rammed with families walking, cyclists, runners, dog walkers. You walk on any paths and you're passing people every 2 minutes - not an exaggeration. We stood in the same spot for about 20 minutes (she was collecting acorns and stuff) and saw at least 50 folk passed us, getting pretty close to each other. It's not a busy area or a city centre.
Getting in your car for a drive means you're self contained and not interacting with anyone then right back to your house. Yeah you might crash but if you haven't in all your years of driving then it's not likely.
