Might be splitting hairs here, but is that thing with separating the parts of each dish with slashes a trendy thing I've missed? All the dishes sound great, but the presentation feels a bit... minimalist? Might just be me, but based on how good all the pictures you post look, it feels like the menu undersells it a bit.
Feel free to ignore if I'm being a cretin, which is usually a sound policy

I think it works. Fuck dicking around reading words like 'and', 'with', 'infused'. Lay it out plain & square. Quick decision =s more time on the bevvy.
I know you have the cod & chorizo stew but seeing as you're entering the longer dark nights I'd add in a fancy comfort food type main. Not sure what exactly but I'm surre you'd come up with something creative.
Otherwise, I'd order (working backwards as I always pretty much go with cheese, and the red onion jams sounds the biz)
- the cod & chorizo, but
Starters becomes dificult as I'm repeating (seafood/cheese). Scotch egg just seems too heavy if going stew, and for me anyway, the spring rolls seem out of place.
Hope that's positive, Kash. Of course thats just one man's opinion and I really don't eat out much at all. I'll stop in if I'm ever down there.
I'd take the veg spring rolls and it might be the mood I'm in but the beetroot risotto sounds great. Would love to see what you do with the corn that comes with the chicken. I also like the style of the menu with the slashes.
One thing that stands out for me though is the repetition of beef with blue cheese and then also mushrooms across 3 dishes. I've not seen the finished dishes obviously, but as a punter I would clock that. Like the sound of the sides (maples roasted veg ) but not sure which of the mains would need a side?
Pedantic and you might have done this for a reason, but I'd put the chocolate brownie further up the desserts, so the three rich puddings were together, then the sorbets, and have the cheese and biscuits last. Would like to see how you're serving the desserts as well.
Cheers guys, hadn't even noticed that with the beef and blue cheese so I'll need to fix that.
I was ware about the 3 dishes with mushrooms, so happy somebodies pointed that out to confirm my concerns. I'll probably just keep the roasted tomato with the steak if that's the case.
I keep the macaroni in to make sure the fussy eaters always have something to order

Aye, knew it myself so I've already taken the mushroom linguine out. Replaced it with a baked aubergine dish with spiced Israeli cous cous and mint yogurt. Back down to only 1 mushroom dish on the menu too. Much more balanced
Your dessert comment also made sense so changed that too
Seems like I've been outvoted with the slashes but I wasn't just suggesting they be replaced with commas, but that a wee description talking the dishes up would look better imo, e.g. 'our homemade...', 'on a bed of...', etc. Just think it'd look a bit more upmarket. Obviously a really small point, and looks like no-one else is that bothered by it, but that's what I meant.
