There’s a pizza place on Great Junction Street that always looks rammed whenever I drive past it too. Can’t remember name but must be decent.

Just been to Rushis in newhaven https://www.rishisedinburgh.co.uk/menu/

absolutely pinigol, decent service and the portion size was spot on, the menu was better than your generic curry house.

Indian Tapas Quite Good

Are you veggie Rory? I’ve got a book of 100 authentic curries or something with some real interesting ones in there. Watermelon curry for example

Yeah The Lodge Warnock we helped set it up but the guy that ran it had no clue and pretty much ran it into the ground.

That’s the book there

Only 50 curries actually but there’s 12 vegetarian ones in there, and I assume most of them you can just use some vegetables in replacement of meat. There’s also plenty of side dish recipes in there as well as chutneys, relishes, raitas, bread recipes, lentil dals, and cabbage/cauliflower sides. It’s a very handy wee book if you’re a curry fan.

I always had him down as a seafood specialist so haven’t really checked him out.
