What's the standard like at Vitoria on the Bridge?
Got folk over from Norway and someone booked it for dinner tonight

Controversial opinion as loads of folk seem to love it, but it's incredibly meh IMO. Any time I've been, it's been under-seasoned, bland and stodgy.

Got a voucher for the Marco Pierre White steakhouse for my birthday that expires in a week so looking to go there some point this week too

I like the wee Italian just off Commercial Street, round the corner from Cameo. Is it still there?
Run by the old boy and his daughter. Huge big dishes of pasta and isn't shy with the vino.

Was at Dakota deluxe in glasgow a few weeks ago, for a birthday meal with the wife. It was really very good. Service was spot on, just the right side of attentive, the wine was excellent, my steak perfectly cooked. The deserts were great as well, had a sherry to go with mine, well why not eh.

I went to Tony Macaronis for the first time last week. The wee £4.50 lunch thing isn't too shabby btw. Chicken and chilli pizza was
