Just can't do basketball or care at all about anyone who plays it or their story or whatever Jezza don't find it interesting or impressive.

Didn't that Jordan die in a plane crash or something not long ago?

(05-19-2020, 08:43 AM)Little Bit Of The Boycey Wrote: The last 2 episodes of The Last Dance were absolutely phenomenal. Definitely the best sport documentary I’ve ever seen.

I did see someone summarise it as “best basketball player ever wins all the time” though, which for some reason I couldn’t stop thinking about, and it kind of pulled the curtain back a little bit. No one could hang with him or the Bulls, and he was so much better than everyone else that it does affect the drama of it to an extent. As an insight into what it takes and what it means to be the best though, unreal.

Would have been interesting to get another perspective on him rather than just this superman. There was some alluding to the bullying and general unpleasant nature he had but not much. Felt like Steve Kerr particularly was holding back.

You'll never get another guy like Jordan because that bullying mindset is what it takes to reach those levels and it's not tolerated now.

Really don't give a fuck about basketball apart from NBA Jam.

Is this worth the investment? How many episodes is it?

He's is a total wank like. His Hall of Fame speech is probably the most classless thing I've ever seen. Just rips into cunts for about 20 minutes  Monty Chuckle

He owns an NBA team and would make Ann Budge look like a strategic genius in comparison. Drafts absolute shite players every year and lost their one good player because he tried to low-ball him.

Yeah, I agree. Everything I’ve read about Jordan previously is that he’s an arsehole but that side was pretty much sugar coated in the doc. Definitely felt like Kerr and BJ Armstrong were being very diplomatic. Kerr won another two titles after he left Chicago and another 3 as a coach with the Warriors, and is pretty much known to be the nicest guy going, so I expect he in particular looks at Jordan and feels like he didn’t need to be that level of prick to win.

10 episodes and yeah, definitely. I’ve spoken to a lot of folk who don’t like/care about basketball who’ve really enjoyed it.

Struggled through the 10 episodes of White Lines. Best avoided.

Finished Gangs of London the other night, was interested to see how it would go at the start but by the end it bored me senseless.
The actor who played lead character Sean Wallace was wooden as fuck and ruined it for me along with the completely unnecessary amounts of violence that was used to fill out the episodes, obviously gangs rule by violence but it just felt silly in the end, was looking at my phone for the majority of the final 3 episodes.
