Yeah you’ll be fine considering the circuit is rcd protected but it’s not something you want to leave too long.

I did get a guy out and he was like "...yeah this is an electric boiler; there's not much that can really go wrong with it" Warnock . I didn't tell him that I'd already bought a carbon monoxide detector. Lampoon

Fart Smelly Cheers. Our plan is to replace the kitchen in a few months anyway, so hopefully it'll last until then.

Monty Chuckle Superb. Sound

Nothing wrong with having a CO detector. Any fossil fuel can give off CO fumes if burning incorrectly. Can also get fumes from neighbours etc.

Think my shower is on the blink, get it fixed or just buy a new one? If new one where is best place to pick one up? Have a Triton black granite felly just now so ideally want something like that to go with the bathroom

Wouldn’t bother getting it fixed, probably cost more than a new one.

Switch off all your radiators bar one and manually put the pressure and temperature up. Sometimes works as a diy powerflush.

Water is coming up from my shower plug when the washing machine is on and smells quite rank.

is that just a case of blocked drains that can be sorted with unblocker stuff?

Aye i'd try using a chemical unblocker. If that doesnt work you'll need to go manual.

I had the same problem a few months ago. I unscrewed the u-bend under the sink and there was this gunk blocking the pipe up that I just poked out with one of those bendy things.

If you put that drain unblocking shit down overnight, it'll probably dissolve it.

The 2 radiator's in my livingroom arent really running the best. I've cleaned them as best i can but i think they need the sludge cleaned out them as there are cold patches on them. Any of the Fam have any experience in this?

You got a key to bleed it? That should sort it, give it a quarter turn anti clockwise and you’ll hear air come out and when water starts to drip close it up again

Aye mate. Done that. Just a big cold patch around the bottom and up a wee bit. They are really old. The rest of the flat is fine.
