Not bad Tony Hmm Ours is £13/sq m for the laminate. Forget what the exact measurements are, but we’re doing a nursery, living room and hallway for about £1400 (including fitting). May be able to get it slightly cheaper elsewhere, but effort.

Turns out that we'd been dealing with the work experience boy or something at CarpetRight, who'd quoted us for the wrong materials. Monty Oh Well We went in today and sorted it out.

We've been sanding walls in readiness for painting; the people who had the flat before us had decided to cover the walls with this awful textured effect Fat Cunt and I've never bothered my arse to get rid of it. The dust FuckMe How do people enjoy DIY?!

It’s not artex is it? Need to be careful if it is, if it was done more than 25 years ago there’s the possibility it contains asbestos

Been working on the garden again. It's been our project all summer, what an absolute mission. Quite enjoy the labouring side of it tbh, as you've nothing to do but get on with it and at the end of a day or two you have pretty good results.

Felt like I was bobby walker in the trenches of the somme at times this weekend, and being back and forth over the grass has fucked it. Had to chase a few pigeons and a squirrel off it this morning as they were in about the new seed I'd chucked down.

I feel your pain!!

I spend the last two weekends tearing out weeds at the top of the garden and then covering it all with membrane before we order new stones for it.

Had to take out a rockery that had been there for years, so was digging that out and filling gaps while chasing pigeons who were trying to get the slugs and worms after I’d dug out. Laugh

Just need to get rid of all the giant rocks now. Monty Umm

Now obssessed with painting. Woy Have done both bathrooms, the hallway and the spare bedroom, and am now choosing a colour for my office. Mrs Acey's family are coming through to help us paint the living room & kitchen in a couple of weeks, and we're getting new floors put in all but two rooms.

Dat feeling of satisfaction once it's done. VanGaals Bitch

We had red chips at our drive and this old crazy paving in the garden, so I got the satisfaction of taking a pick axe to the fucker. Under the chips were various old compressed layers that were rock hard. Was interesting to see the different layers. Anyway after that we had 3 of those big hippo bags full of rubble, soil and old chips, all sitting on the street, but we managed to get a guy who is doing a big job next door to take them away on their skip for £50. jjay

Laid loads more gravel and now onto our third ton bag of chips.

Also had three rose borders we had to dig out, must have been about 50 roses. Fat Cunt Managed to give quite a few away, some were really nice but just not for us.

Decking and stones out back. Going to put stones and slabs down out front. Wife takes care of the weeds, I man the power washer. Gardening can fuck right off.

Despise cutting the grass in my front garden, such a faff of a task. Don’t think I’d go as far as to get Astro though.
