Deckard's not bothered because he's a replicant as well
Oh wait, we're not discussing it are we?

Nah, i think Decker realises that his only crime was wanting to be more human*. And by him saving Deckers life, and bearing in mind Decker has just hunted him and all his mates down and killed them, you could say Batty was more human than him.
*You could forgive Batty for killing Tyrell, the creator of slaves. Just my wee take on it, of course.

I can have a serious Blade Runner feel conversation with you if you like, I was just being a dick there
I don't even think that the point of the origami at the end is to make you think "AH TWIST HEZ A REPLICANT" - it's to make you think about whether it matters and compare him to Roy, who had more ostensibly human qualities than Deckard in the course of the movie. It's the best film ever made about what it is to be human IMO.

Ooft. Depending on what part he plays, i guess. He does have that coldness about him so may fit in well.

Actually sounds like it could be decent.

The best thing they could do is spin it that in the world of the sequel newer replicants with much longer life spans are the norm. Im sure I read somewhere that Ridley Scott doesnt plan to have Deckard appear until the third act so this would at least keep the "is he isnt he" element open.
Oh and no more unicorn dreams pls. |
