Miller's Crossing, 1990
It's a solid 7.5/10. Most of the dialogue exchanges are riveting, especially between Byrne and Harden. It's pretty easy on the eyes too.

Really? I was a little underwhelmed, Tom Holland is a great Spider-Man but the story was lacking a bit for me

Watched that last night as well. Same sort of opinions. Holland is easily the best Spiderman there's been, but that film lacked something. I really enjoyed it mind.

Just watched The Captive on Netflix.

Bit of a Woy Not Sure of a film. Quite liked the non-linear narrative, but it got extremely silly extremely quickly. Room was a much better "people stuck in a room" film.

Blade runner 2049

Cinematography and direction both 10/10

Great sequel but really no need for Harrison Ford to be in it

Overall 8/10

For a few dollars more just showed up on netflix so i'm rewatching it tonight. For my money, it's the best in the trilogy. Fistful is punk rock and stripped down and everything but pales in comparison to yojimbo, and good, bad and the ugly is overlong and preachy.

7.5/10 - Finally saw this and it's actually very good. The trailers had me worried - a case of if ever there was a trailer that put cinema-goers off. Of course there are a few moments of cringe here and there but otherwise I'd say it's probably at least as good as the first. Glad to see a director use the Edinburgh's uniquely night-lit backdrop (especially without the moving trash you'd normally see out at night).

I meant to ask of those who go clubbing; the scene where Franco looks incredulous as the whole dancefloor do a wee Agadoo in unison thingy ... is that what it's like these days (generally speaking)?

The Snowman - 5/10

Not very good at all, was hoping for another Scandinavian thriller akin the the millennium trilogy but this was average at best with one or two jumpy bits... also worked out the “whodunnit” upon said character’s first screen appearance,

Thought Bladerunner 2049 was pretty poor. Looked very good but dragged badly and I felt the story was dull.

3/10

Love the original.

Happy Deathday

Teen slasher/horror/comedy

Was actually pretty funny although when watching it I realised I’m a bit older than its target market,
