Absolutely loved it. Everything you'd want in a Tarantino movie. It's the sort of movie where anyone less than Tarantino knowledge of cinema will miss a thousand references. Amazing.

Watched it last night. Everything you’d want is nail on head, had it all Laugh great cinema.

He's curating a series of films related to his latest, shown on one of the freeview movie channels for a few weeks. I think i've seen two.

Mid 90’s

Coming of age movie about a boy living in LA who befriends a bunch of Skaterz

Couple of funny bits and a very on point mid 90’s hip hop soundtrack

Once upon a time in Hollywood - 5/10

Too long, unfocused and frankly boring at times. It's not a bad film, just not that good either.

A mate said the same thing although I must admit I do fancy watching it before it’s out the cinema,

We went to see Seth Rogens Good Boys at the weekend, it was relatively funny but unfortunately the trailer uses most of the best material from the film.

Strange how polarising that film has been. I saw it Saturday and absolutely loved it. Think it's his best film since Pulp Fiction.

I love character and dialogue driven films and didn't find any of that boring at all. Not aimed at you, but I think if you went in expecting some kind of action film, or are bored by dialogue then can see why you wouldn't like it. Leo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt together was something to behold, they were both amazing, especially Pitt, had really great chemistry and probably made the film for me. I can't imagine enjoying it as much without them, so if you don't like the actors then can see why you wouldn't like it either.

I love Tarantinos films so knew roughly what to expect. My personal favourite is Jackie Brown.

IMO the dialogue isn't sparkling here, not for a Tarantino flick anyway. It has great moments, I loved the Pitt side story at the ranch etc but it also has flat spots too. Scenes go on way too long and run out of juice, the film could have lost 20-30 minutes without detriment.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood - 8/10

Pitt and Leo are outstanding in it. Could have done with being about 30 minutes shorter (there must be about half an hour of people just driving Laugh), but really enjoyed it.

Watched Split on channel 4 last night, I went to the cinema to see it first time round so it was interesting to watch it again knowing what’s going on and picking up on the subtle M.Night touches, unfortunately it also just reinforced how disappointing Glass was for me,

hopefully going to see It chapter 2 later on tonight

Khali it was bang average to be honest, plenty “jumpy” scenes but nothing scary, the build up music and inevitable shock comes but the forms that the creature is pretty ridiculous, folk were laughing in the cinema at parts
