I'd also of course be interested to read what you rate the film.  Monty Oh You

It's an 8 at least. Great stuff. Breakfast club is better though. That's a solid 9 GodIsGod

Good man, a classic I agree, one you can watch time and again with plenty of great scenes: Valet guys taking off with the GTO, Wrigley Field and Rooney's Bears (sic), Twist and Shout, etc.

The Gentlemen - solid and typical Guy Ritchie with a fair chunk of the story & plot stolen from Layer Cake.

The Mike Newell one of a few yrs back. only wee neggie was that I had difficulty with the accents initially, or maybe it was just the shitty sound on my telly!

The Martian, 6/10
I've seen it before but watched with son as he's doing some space-themed work grid this week for school studies. It's a bit of a meh film, fine but you'd watch something else and likely shite before you watched it again.

Kelly + Victor, 5.5/10
Two young Scousers meet and fuck like Michael Hutchence.   Monty LewLew

Watched the Martian as well last night.  First time I seen it I loved it but didn’t think it was as good this time.  I ended up getting irritated by Matt Damon’s character early on and was willing for him to starve tbh.

It’s still a really well made film like, I’d give it a 7.

Laugh Aye, and that he almost did ... said to my son that I bet that the bit where he comes out the shower he's been replaced with a weedy body double (*insert TH member here* amirite Smug ). For school he has to write a review of a space film and picked this one (he wanted to do Mars Attacks but I suggested that prhaps The Martian was probably more appropriate, and definitely less controversial). One of the questions was what are opinions on the Directing? Crowe They're in P6! I actually had to look up what the director's role, just to make sure. Laugh

Anyway, aye decent film. I always tend to score low.

Coincidently, he had to read a 'Not very good story about ...'  Mars, and then he was to improve it ... he (err, we, I helped him a bit) came up with a basketball game against the plutonians, and his sister said there's a movie with Michael Jordan like than! Laugh I mentioned it but have never seen it.  Might check it out, Morph myman.

Just rewatched Nightcrawler on Netflix for the first time since I saw it at the cinema. One of my favourite films - would strongly recommend if you haven’t seen it.

I was watching with that in mind - you can see him blink behind his shades quite clearly early on. Could definitely afford to blink more throughout though.  Warnock
