I’ve seen worse movies but it’s around 2 hours 40 mins long, our 5 week old baby was at my folks so it was 3 hours where we weren’t feeding her/winding her or changing nappy’s and clothes which was most welcome.

One of the highlights is a cameo from Stephen King

Rambo: Last Blood 7/10

Genuinely enjoyed it. Critics will destroy it but you're with Rambo all the way!

Ad Astra - 7/10

An enjoyable space journey with sulking Brad Pitt. I really liked the depiction of space travel in the not so distant future, It's future real and cool to see a realistic (IMO) depiction of what Is eventually around the corner for the human race.

I saw Ad Astra too.

7.5/10.

First act was a bit slow, but quite a powerful story about family by the end. Visuals will keep you interested during the slow parts.

Ad Astra - 6.5. Was alright if a bit boring at points. Felt like it was trying a bit too hard to be arthouse. Pitt was great.

I don’t think it needed the monologue.

“I am feeling sad about my dad right now” etc...

I think it could’ve been an amazing film if it was packaged tighter.

Agree completely. Decent enough film but that was distracting

Vice

Expected more and it took some unnecessarily weird detours (Shakespeare Warnock ) but enjoyed it overall.

Joker - fantastic as a standalone movie, not a superhero movie/comic book movie by any stretch of the imagination although there is room for sequels and spin offs.

Joaquin Phoenix better stock up on some trophy polish after that performance

Just watched Hotel Mumbai on Sky :Fat Cunt not sure how good it is as a film as such, but horrible to think about having to live through that sort of thing.

El Camino - 7/10

Wasn’t sure what I was expecting but was a nice way to tie it all up. Feels like an extended episode rather than a movie.

Yeah I enjoyed it and I think it’s good as that’s all the unanswered questions dealt with now and wrapped up
