Yup, amazing. Stick with it because it's not clear at the start.

Watched Knives out last night. 7/10.

I thought, it was slightly cold, but enjoyed it, laughed out loud at a few points as well. I see they are making another one, benoit blanc, and then new location, cast etc.

Put on Rogue Warfare on Netflix..... turned swiftly off after about 15 minutes. Acting is fucking woeful, the accents are terrible, they’ve picked a Russian lassie as a soldier and she is struggling to carry the gun  Warnock

Apollo 11, 6.5/10
Some great footage and obviously some totally faked stuff but overall pretty convincing propaganda.

Factotum, 6/10
Matt Dillon is a drunk, and a writer staggering along through jobs and girls with minimal success.

High Plains Drifter. GodIsGod

Can't beat a bit of Clint. Even better when he's a bit of a cunt. Great film.

Bande de filles (the English version is called Girlhood) - about a girl growing up in the outskirts of Paris who joins a gang. Enjoyed this as I'm never happier than when I'm saying things are problematic, and this was problematic.

I was a big fan of it. Daft as fuck but enjoyable.

Watched 21 bridges last night as someone said it was dece, and wanted to see if the fam knew their onions. The fam know their onions.

It was fucking awful. So obvious what was going on in the background from the almost the very start.

Buster's Mal Heart, 7/10
Enjoyable thriller that's pieces leave you wondering what exactly happened.  If you haven't seen it then I'd definitely give it a go. Not however, to be watched late at night when you might fall asleep as it does require a bit of attention.

e: Also watched Chappaquiddick this afternoon. 6/10, you know the score.

Uncut Gems, 9/10

Thought it was going to be proper boring but was very enjoyable. Weird seeing Sandler play a serious role, and it’s probably his best film in the last decade - at least.

Some arse on his wee fuck girl Pretty good

Four Lions Quite Good

Hadn't actually seen this before. Had heard it talked up a lot, didn't think it quite lived up to the hype but still enjoyed it.

The Connection

V.v. dece film about some boy trying to take down a heroin dealer in Marseille in the 1970s.

Class setting for a film. Could picture Walt riding about on a bike in the background somewhere with a baguette under his arm.

I’ve seen Love and Mercy but not The Connection, Is it a remake of the french connection movie from the 70’s?

The scene in Love and Mercy when Paul Dano is running around in a firemans outfit whilst conducting an orchestra during the attempted recording of Smile is something else Laugh

French Connection is set mostly in the states. French Connection 2 in the south of France but is mostly about Hackman getting shot up with junk and then drying out. Both brilliant.
